Have you ever assigned a Google Forms Quiz but forgot to include a field for students to type their names? In the tweet below from Jamie Agombar, you can see how easy it is to use "Smart Chips" in Google Sheets to convert email addresses to student names.
- Open the Google Forms Response page
- Click the green Google Sheets icon to view responses in an organized spreadsheet
- Select the column that includes Email Addresses
- Right click and select "Convert to People Chip"
- Watch the magic happen as the email addresses are converted into names!
