A Little Bird Told Me: 30 Sites for Students with Free Time on Their Hands
Looking for something to assign to students who finish a lesson before their peers? Tony Vincent recently tweeted a link to Matt Miller's 30 Sites for Students with Free Time on Their Hands. Lots of cool stuff here for a variety of grade levels and subject areas. I personally recommend the Google Arts & Culture link as there is content and tours relevant to not only the visual arts like world museums, but also history, geography, and science. For those of you interested in Virtual Field Trips, I recommend checking out the Google Expeditions link (Google deprecated Google Expeditions, but the content can still be found on the Google Arts & Culture site).
